Building Block Interiors is a premier contract furniture dealership headquartered in Fremont, California, proudly serving clients throughout the Bay Area and nationwide. Founded in 2012 by Brett Collins, a long-time industry professional, we’ve grown from a handful of local projects to more than 1000 installations across 18+ states.
With offices in Fremont, CA and Gilbert, AZ, we’ve grown our presence and have continued to invest in the tools and technology that help us plan spaces faster, smarter, and more precisely, stay aligned with your timeline, workflow, and budget.

Brett Collins

Principal

Brett started in the contract furniture industry in 2007. In 2012, Brett started Building Block Interiors with the vision of creating a contract furniture dealership that is customer-first and aimed at providing solutions coupled with the best customer experience to match today’s fast-paced work environment. Brett learned the business at the project management level which has given him the understanding of all phases of a project from the planning to installation and day two maintenance. He oversees all aspects of BBI from Operations to the Customer experience. Outside of work, Brett enjoys traveling the world with his wife and daughter and staying active. He is also an Alumni of Saint Mary’s College of California where he also played on the Men’s Basketball team.
